Mission Statement

Our aim is to provide a happy, safe, warm and stimulating environment for all children to play, learn and develop freely.  Our aim is to respect every child as an individual regardless of gender, cultural background or ability. We will carry this out by following the Themes and Commitments found in the Early Years Foundation Stage, the unique child, encouraging positive relationships, offering enabling environments and opportunities for learning and development.

In accordance with the new Ofsted regulations, which came into force in September 2008,  New Hope-Worcester is on the compulsory part of the Childcare Register. 

New Hope-Worcester will:
  • Run a school holiday club for all school holidays
  • Establish a parents association within our first year.
  • Provide a programme of activities that are interesting, educational,stimulating and fun.
  • Are for children aged 6-19 years of age; families may self refer to New Hope-Worcester.
  • Are also for children referred from the Children with Disabilities team, aged 6-19 years who will be offered supported places.
  • Aim to give children/parents/carers as many days per week as they require.
  • Will ensure children are cared for by experienced and suitably qualified staff that have been kept up to date with current legislation and good practice procedures.
  • Will meet the needs of children with disabilities and additional needs.
  • Will offer children a variety of free play activities depending on each individual child’s needs.
  • Will communicate with the children throughout the process of starting and finishing sessions.
  • Are committed to equal opportunities for all.
  • Are committed to meeting the needs of parents and carers.
  • Are child led and child focussed.
  • Will be guided by Ofsted and Development Officers from the Early Years and Childcare Service.

We will ensure the staff looking after all children are suitable to do so. We will work together with Children’s Social Care, Every Child Matters Agenda, the Foundation Stage and Ofsted requirements.

We will always notify Ofsted of:
  • Changes to the provider or person with direct responsibility for Early Years Provision.
  • Any proposal to change the hours during which childcare is provided which may affect
The space available to children and the quality of childcare available to them.
  • Any change in our name and address, and change in the name of premises on which childcare is provided.
  • Any criminal offence committed by the registered provider after the time of registration.
